The rapid and accelerating rate of climate change and increasing levels of uncertainty underline the need
for urgent and significant climate resilience action. Several leading foundations, including The David and
Lucile Packard Foundation, Kresge, Gordon and Betty Moore, and Walton Family Foundations, have
committed to scaling up their climate resilience initiatives. This report aims to inspire and guide
philanthropic efforts, highlighting where strategic investments can make a transformative impact.
