Dr. David Korowicz is a physicist and human systems ecologist. He has over a decade of experience working on large-scale and catastrophic risks. This has included work on the socio-economic impacts of pandemics and constraints on oil production, financial system failure, and integrated analysis of civilizational risk. Until recently he worked with the Geneva Global Initiative; he is now working on preparedness and resilience planning arising from the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

by Dr. Michael Lawrence at The Cascade Institute….. In this framework, a global crisis arises when one or more fast-moving trigger events combines with slow-moving stresses to push a global system out of its established equilibrium and into a volatile and harmful state of disequilibrium. We then identify three causal pathways—common stresses, domino effects, and inter-systemic feedbacks—that can connect multiple global systems to produce synchronized crises.
In this Omega Conversation hosted by Omega founder Michael Lerner, David Korowicz discusses anticipatory preparedness. Dr. David Korowicz is a physicist and human systems ecologist. He has over a
