On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, the Cascade Institute, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, the
Research Institute for Sustainability – Helmholtz Centre Potsdam, and the Centre for the Study of Existential
Risk published a concise yet comprehensive roadmap to advance polycrisis analysis as an inclusive,
credible, and recognized field of knowledge and practice. The Polycrisis Research & Action Roadmap: Gaps,
opportunities, and priorities for polycrisis research and action draws on the results of a broad consultation of
participants in the growing community of polycrisis research and action; and provides scholars,
policymakers, firms, and funders with a concise yet comprehensive snapshot of this emerging field.Cascade Institute
